As a Visitation Specialist, you will work within a supervised visitation setting in Pennsauken, Camden County, NJ. The youth and family program provides visits at office/home/community sites for children placed by DCPP. The goal is to promote developmentally appropriate parent-child interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide services to families such as referral, advocacy and service linkages

• Provides clinical assessment of needs and appropriate plan for intervention

• Provide a written summary of each visit to supervisor and uploads into NJ SPIRIT, provides monthly reports to DCP&P

• Provide safe therapeutic visit supervision, transportation of children, and transportation of parents when necessary

• Attend supervision, Family Team Meetings, quarterly Case Conferences with DCP&P and Court hearings as needed

• Submit all documentation/reports in a timely fashion



Requirements

Qualifications:

• Masters degree (MA, MS, MSW) in psychology, social work or other clinical field

• Professional license required

• In-community social service experience preferred
