We have several locations across the US and are looking for new Associates to join our team!

POSITION PURPOSE

Effective communications is a key component of building and maintaining a brand as well as engaging key stakeholders. The Marketing Communications Specialist plays a key role in supporting and executing advertising, channel programs, and digital marketing efforts in support of the division’s goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

ADVERTISING & PROMOTION
a. Create and maintain an advertising calendars (national and channel); coordinate artwork creation with timely submission of materials.
b. Identify opportunities to align end-user advertising with channel programs to ensure maximum impact.
c. Process invoices and track against budget.
d. Establish metrics and report on results. Make recommendations for adjustments.

TRADESHOWS
a. Responsible for coordinating all tradeshows (national and channel), including:
• Booth and related show services
• Registrations and hotel reservations
• Promotional activities
• Post-show lead follow-up
• Budget

DIGITAL ASSETS
a. Maintain and update digital asset management system as new materials are released, updated or discontinued.
b. Work with marketing team to create and maintain a calendar of activities and events. Publish monthly for visibility.
c. Route marketing materials, as needed.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
1. Ability to meet or exceed deadlines.
2. Completion of deliverables.
3. Increased exposure of PDI and its brands.
4. Preparation of reports.


Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor degree in Marketing or Communications.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of HTML, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator a plus.
Knowledge of CRM systems (i.e. Hubspot, Salesforce.com) a plus.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1-2 years in marketing or communications, preferably in the healthcare industry.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Highly organized.
Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities and adapt to frequent changes.
Ability to work with associates at all levels within the organization.
