Responsibilities

  • Coordinate trainings and meetings held for Kumon University:
    • Communication with PFs, Instructors, Associates (e-mail, phone, face-to-face)
    • Set up meetings/trainings; make travel arrangements
    • Set-up/clean-up of breakfast & lunch offerings; preparing handouts; and tracking invitations & attendance
  • Grade & track Instructor Achievement Tests (Math & Reading) for Instructors
  • Workbook/worksheet binder review
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to general requests made by trainees and staff members
  • Forge strong business relationships with food catering vendors
  • Greet and direct visitors to the company in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner
  • Answer general phone line and direct incoming calls to the appropriate associate

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Associates’ degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training
  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Excellent communication, listening and speaking skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Must be a team player and be able to take direction from a number of individuals
