MISSION : 

 

The Amazon Sales Director will be responsible for growingour Groupe SEB USA's Amazon business. Accountable for the P&L and long-termgrowth plan working in collaboration with an all-star cross-functional team.Specific duties include:

  • Be the go-to for all things Amazon
  • Lead strategic planning and decisionmaking for the Amazon business to maintain profitability and sales growth
  • Directly supervise the Amazon National AccountManager (day-to-day operations)
  • Review sales forecast to ensure alignmentwith growth and market trends
  • Strong proficiency in managing EDI, CrossStock and DI shipments, while working with cross-functional teams to decreasecharge backs and long vendor lead times
  • Own all the operational and execution of(in order of importance):
    • Negotiation
    • Operational scorecard
    • POS and online traffic analysis
    • Exponential growth forecasting andinventory management
    • Push sales
    • Customer relationship
  • Analyze POS and other data to educateinternal teams on areas of focus for the year. Provide key analytics reportingto senior management
  • Work closely with the internal marketingpartners to create brand messaging and total selling story within the Amazonplatform of promotional calendar to lay out full year strategy while alsoquantifying success of promotional activities
  • Assist in continually optimizing thepurchase and product interaction paths
  • Identify new areas of under-penetratedgrowth within our categories
  • Planning: an ability to think ahead andplan over a 1-2-year time span
  • Implement best practice sales techniquesin a way that enhances sales effectiveness and important customer dependence  



Qualifications

PROFILE: 

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (orequivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 10 years of strategic salesexperience among which includes a Minimum of 5-years' experience dealing withinthe Amazon eco-system
  • Strong Amazon knowledge and vision forthe evolution of e-commerce
  • Strong analytical skills – must haveaccurate reporting measures
  • Ability to strive in a fast- paced andstressful environment
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally& transversely across the organization
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills. Ability to communicate persuasively and precisely acrossall levels of management, both internal and with Amazon
  • Proficient in Vendor Central
  • Trained in back end logistics andinter-working of Amazon
  • Strong facilitation and problem-solvingskills - including idea generation, conflict management, issue escalation,prioritization, and the ability to manage changing priorities. Strongorganizational, coordination, and execution skills
