This is a maternity leave coverage, covering from mid-May through return.
1. Develops educationally relevant IEP goals and objectives in collaboration with supervising occupational therapist and teachers.
2. Implements treatment directly on an individual basis or group basis under the direction OTR.
3.Submits written reports to appropriate sources according to schedule utilizing required formats/forms and maintains all service related records; obtains signature of OTR
4.Participates and/or cooperates in the aquatic and hippotherapy program (if applicable) be planning and/or scheduling therapeutic treatment individually/groups.
5.Designs, fabricates, adjusts or makes minor repairs to therapeutic equipment for individual students and makes suggestions and monitors provision of appropriate assistive technology under the supervision of OTR.
6.Maintains open communication with family/guardian and child study team case manager as required on an individual basis.
7.Fosters and maintains collaborative relationship with therapists, teachers, classroom support staff, and resource staff while monitoring therapeutic programs.
8. Participates in department meetings, all staff meetings and team meetings and various school clinics.
9.Attends educational courses to maintain and update knowledge and skills; may conduct in-service programs for other staff members.
10. Travel and or home visits may be required to meet individual needs.
11. Performs other related tasks as directed by supervisor or CPNJ management.

Association) approved occupational therapy assistant program and successful completion of NBCOT (National Board of Certification of OT) Certification Examination or of an equivalent combination; New Jersey State License fingerprint examination and approval by State of NJ.
