Job Description: Required Degree: Bachelors or higher Required Experience: 3-5 years JOB DESCRIPTION: We are a visionary leader in the IT Business Intelligence industry that is looking for an experienced software engineer who has web master experience to assist us with the maintenance, development, and implementation of our Intranet systems. The candidate must have a solid development background across multiple technical disciplines including .Net web application development, Java client/server development, and Database Development. The role will primarily involve server-side design and programming work, but will also include some traditional user interface and application module development as well. Responsibilities cover the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and brainstorming, analysis, coding, testing, documentation and management. Primary Responsibilities: ? Responsible for performing day-to-day site maintenance on several web sites. ? Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested by clients. ? Provide training on maintenance and update procedures to clients. Requirements: ? 3+ years in Intranet related system development including 2+ Years of experience in developing or maintaining intranet systems. (Web Master Experience is essential) ? Experienced Web Developer with either knowledge in the following areas; Java, EJB, JDBC, JSP/Servlet, ASP, .Net and etc. ? Experience with either applications servers: Oracle Weblogic, IIS and etc. ? Experience with either database servers: Oracle, MS-SQL ? Experience with multiple O/S's: Windows, UNIX, Windows NT platforms. ? BS/BA or higher in Computer Science or related field ? Very good spoken and written English (level 5) in order to analyze customer?s requirements and train customers and faculty Special Skills: ? Goal oriented and self-motivated. ? Candidate must have the ability to work independently or within a team environment. ? Strong oral and written communications skills with ability to create software design and engineering documents. ? Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines is essential. ? Ability to work in a fast paced environment is crucial. ?
