3M's HR Organization has an immediate opening for a Plant Human Resources Supervisor for the Flemington, NJ locations.

The Plant Human Resources Supervisor is the primary contact for all HR related activities in the plant including affirmative action, employee relations, labor relations, disability management, staffing, and wage and salary administration. The person in this position must be able to build rapport with people at all levels of the organization. This position also requires the ability to influence others in order to resolve issues in the best possible manner.

Primary duties/responsibilities include:

* Manage daily employee relations issues and support the site's business goals
* Provide coaching and guidance to employees, leadership, and supervision
* Provide coaching and guidance on developing HR policies and programs to support the changing needs of businesses and to insure positive employee/management relations
* Direct Supervisor for Professional and Administrative HR staff
* Some day travel is required to provide support to other locations

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree of higher from an accredited university
* Minimum of 3 years experience in human resources within a plant manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree or higher in Human Resources from an accredited university
* Minimum of 1 year human resources supervisory experience
* Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
