OneSource Landscape and Golf Services has an opening for a Landscape Site Supervisor beginning August 1st in Woodcliff, NJ. The duties expected are as follows: -Leads crews and technicians on a day to day basis to ensure that services are performed as contracted -Have a New Jersey commercial pesticide license -Apply pesticide applications as needed per contract -Control supplies, equipment and personnel necessary to meet customer specifications and expectations. Schedule personnel for daily and periodic work. -Interact with customer contacts daily to obtain feedback on services and special needs. Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns. Ensures the following through of the corrective action plans to guarantee satisfactory resolution of customer complaints and needs. -Implement and manage the company's quality control monitoring and safety programs. Verify all personnel are up-to-date on emergency evacuation procedures and rules including the return to work policy. -Ensures the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) are available, personal protective equipment is in use and supplies are in place at the account. -Operate and maintain irrigations system, repair as needed. Turn on and winterize when needed. -Review labor variances, budgets, costs, chargebacks and inventory control records to ensure labor and supply are within budge while delivering exceptional customer service. -Staff shifts with foreman and service personnel. -Conduct quality of service inspections with the foreman. -Attend / conduct safety meetings at least once a week. -Develop operational improvements plans and implements process changes within policy and procedure guidelines. -Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and all federal, state and local government regulations. -Prepare paperwork, including new hires, terminations, disciplinary evaluations and documentation, various employee transactions, labor variance action plans, and operation models and ensures that the paperwork is complete, accurate, and is submitted to the proper personnel in a timely manner. -Maintains a continuing program of training, and evaluation of landscape leads and service workers to provide recognition and identification of promotable personnel. Ensures day, night and weekend personnel are completely trained. -Analyze and manage, in a proactive manner, both the financial and the operational performance of the account. -Prepare service order billing information ensuring that it is accurate and is provided in a timely manner to the appropriate billing personnel on a daily as needed. -Prepare payroll timesheets ensuring that they are accurate and submitted to the appropriate payroll personnel in a timely manner. -Work with appropriate personnel to develop an action plan for all invoices that are outside of the contractual parameters. -Increases revenue at the account by being proactive in providing additional or periodic services to customers. -Bring to the attention of the Branch Manager any opportunities or potential failures in the account in a timely manner to ensure retention. -Performs all other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager. Supervisory Responsibilities Manages and provides leadership to foreman and all service employees assigned to the account. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of personnel within the assigned area of responsibility. Performs along with the foreman and service employees. This is a working supervisory position. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and termination employees.
