Job Description NICET Construction Inspector

NICET certified Construction Inspectors with heavy highway and bridge experience will be assigned to upcoming municipal, NYSTA and NYSDOT projects located in the northeast including the capital district area.

Construction Inspectors will perform inspection duties to ensure conformance to quality, performance, safety and/or code requirements. May assist supervisor with general guidance to entry-level inspectors. May provide on-the-job training to new inspectors. Provides QA reports to supervisor for approval. Maintain inspection records. May recommend requirements for remedial corrective actions.

NICET Level II or equivalent years experience
