The Responsibilities for the Transmission Rebuilder are:
* Diagnose, rebuild and repair automotive transmission systems.
* Diagnose, rebuild and repair to specifications Knowledge of electrical and computer systems a plus
The Responsibilities for the Transmissions R&R are:
* Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems.
* Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
The Responsibilities for the General Diagnostics Technician are:
* Explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers as required.
* Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training session in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
* Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
* Maintains an organized service department.
Requirements
The Job Requirements for the Automotive Technician / Mechanic are:
* Own tools
* Current Driver s License
* 5 to 10 years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience
* Possesses a passion for cars and their work
* Customer oriented with the ability to communicate solutions to others in a helpful and courteous manner.
* Self-motivated and takes pride in work
* Seeks to continue to learn the craft and operates with unimpeachable integrity
* ASE certifications a plus
* Bilingual is a plus.
