As a Lead Marketing Communications Manager, you will lead the Business Marketing Communication's Online Community Strategy, managing engagement and interactivity with its audience, and fostering the Company's reputation as a thought leader. This role coordinates with the internal Editorial and Marketing teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a strong community around the brand.   
 
Additional Responsibilities:
 

  • Refine an existing B2B blog strategy to evolve into an  online community strategy, while coordinating with stakeholders across the Company to ensure its effectiveness 
  • Work with the technology, product development, business content, SEO and analytics teams  to ensure the community platform (for ex. forums, blogs, moderation tools) are kept up to date and functional
  • Work with the content team to generate compelling editorial content and manage a schedule of  subject matter experts and guest writers, leading them into contributing their own high quality submissions across the entire suite of tools available
  • Moderate all Business Solutions-related User Generated Content, liaising with the Legal team where required
  • Act as an advocate of Business Solutions within the Company, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
  • Ensure return of lapsed readers through the judicious use of regular system mass emails, community newsletters and editorial
  • Work with the analytics team to monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the growth of the community, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of new initiatives
  • Monitor trends in community and social media tools, trends and applications
  • Regularly feed back insights gained from community monitoring into the Marketing and Editorial teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
  • Manage future social media campaigns and day-to-day activities that promote community activity. Duties may include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
  • Maintain knowledge of AT&T Social Media Standards and Guidelines and apply to AT&T Business Solutions communities
  • Strong strategic development background, including development of plans and presentations
  • Solid understanding of media planning
  • Ability to work with multiple levels of management throughout organization

    Skills / Requirements

     
    Required Qualifications:

     
             5+ years of marketing experience involving both online and offline marketing programs

             Knowledge of content merchandising  and marketing best practices

             Proven track record of content strategy execution driving successful lead generation results, preferably in B2B telecommunications environment

             Outstanding written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams  in a matrixed environment

             Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills and proven program leadership capabilities

             Proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook

     

    Desired Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related discipline

    • Seven or more years related experience in marketing, communications, or advertising, etc.

    • Knowledge of telecommunications industry and terminology including wireless

    • Strong strategic development background, including development of plans and presentations

    • Solid understanding of media planning

    • Ability to work with multiple levels of management throughout organization
